GIANT MTB TEAM AT NMBS #2 IN ARIZONA

(April 7, 2008) Giant MTB Team member and US XC National Champion Adam Craig placed second in the second National Mountain Bike Series Race at McDowell Mountain Park in Fountain Valley, AZ, over the weekend of April 4 – 6 2008.

Adam rode most of the race with eventual winner Geoff Kabush, but the Team Maxxis rider outpaced Craig in the final rollers to take first place by :18 seconds.

In the Women’s XC, Giant’s Kelli Emmett placed 4th overall, 2:08 behind winner Georgia Gould of the Luna Women’s MTB team. Details and photos here.

In short track competition, Carl Decker placed 5th.

In the Men’s Super D, Adam Craig finished in 4th place, and Carl Decker placed 9th. And in the Women’s Super D event, Kelli Emmett – who had won the event the week before in Fontana, CA – placed 8th.
