Giant USA has been around now for 20 years.  We’re about 100 employees strong, scattered between corporate office folks, our sales reps and our warehouse staff.  And there’s a saying we all sometimes use when we’re talking about bicycles.

“It’s in our DNA.”

We live bicycles. We breathe them. We believe in them.  This is our vision: To be the world’s best bicycle company, sharing the pure joy of the ride with bike owners, through neighbors who own and work at shops in your community.  Those words are written on the walls inside Giant’s headquarters.

We have all kinds of people working here: accountants, salespeople, technical and product people, marketing people, all kinds of different personalities and disciplines.  There is a common thread throughout: The ride. The fun. It’s in our DNA.

There is just about every kind of rider you can imagine here. The hardcore racers from the product group who are serious about training and performance.  The lifetime roadies from the sales department who have made cycling a part of their lives.  The casual weekend cruisers who find riding a relaxing, healthy experience. We even have professional athletes who do things on a bike that are almost unbelievable. People here ride to work, ride at lunch, ride to evaluate parts, ride for all kinds of reasons and for all kinds of personal rewards.

But in the end, it all really does come down to the fun of it all. There’s escape, freedom, exploration—but it really is about the fun. Sure, there are terrific benefits to whatever level you choose to ride in your life:  The group ride, the all-day mountain bike adventure, the century ride, the daily 10-mile bicycle commute, the cruise to the coffee shop. But wherever you choose to go, the fun still comes along for the ride.
